Wilson Hoag Jr., age 90, passed away January 27, 2026. He was born December 20,1935 in Kansas City, Missouri.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 14, 2026, Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington, Texas 76013. He will be laid to rest with his wife at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas, Texas 75211.

As a young child, he moved with his family to Los Angeles, California, where he was raised.

Wilson served in the United States Army for 3 years, stationed in Chōfu, Japan near Tokyo and Thailand.

He attended the University of Colorado and Sophia University in Tokyo. He graduated from Northrop University, in Inglewood, California.

Wilson married Marianne Morrissy on June 20, 1959. They shared 54 years of marriage together before her passing in 2013.

Wilson worked for Bell Helicopter Textron for 38 years, serving as a field engineer, logistics engineer, and program manager. During his years with Bell, he traveled extensively, enjoying a vast number of cultural, historical, and culinary experiences.

A man of diverse interests, he enjoyed a variety of hobbies including ham radio, genealogy, photography, and stamp collecting. He was an avid cook and loved to explore ethnic restaurants. He was a long-time member of the Arlington Sportsman's Club and a black powder enthusiast.

Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Hoag and Maellen Staub Combs, wife Marianne, and grandson Forrest Grimes. He is survived by brother Wilbur Hoag and sister Linda Hoag; daughters Deborah Blaha and husband Ron, Christina Hoag-Jasek and husband Kelly, Suzanne Grimes and husband Gary; and two grandsons Richard Pokorney and Hayden Grimes.
