William "Bill" Charles Huens

William "Bill" Charles Huens, 72, passed away in Arlington, Texas, on Monday, July 6, 2026. He was born on December 21, 1953 in Dallas, Texas, to Herbert and Bess Huens.

Bill attended Sunset High School, followed by a short time at Dallas County Community College before dedicating himself to EMT school and ultimately the Dallas Fire Department. He spent a large part of his life as a master electrician that everyone could count on to "bring the light", but always felt deeply honored and proud of his years with the Dallas Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Huens; daughters, Adrian Huens, Laura Hammett, and Sally (Brent) Wiethoff; grandchildren, Alec (Garrett) Skyler MacKenna, Cooper Wiethoff, and Reed Wiethoff; great grandchild, Lori Sue MacKenna; brother, Michael Huens.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington, Texas 76013.
