Arlington

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Whitney Renee Valentine, who left us all too soon, on Sunday October 18th, 2026.

Born on March 20th, 1989 in Spartanburg South Carolina, Whitney was a vibrant and unique spirit, beloved by not only her family and friends, but by everyone that was fortunate enough to cross paths with her.

Whitney grew up between Spartanburg, South Carolina and Franklin Tennessee, where she developed her love for music, movement, and an unshakeable passion for seamstry and design. She had a unique talent for finding beauty and meaning in every situation; and as a true artist, she carried that passion throughout everything she did.

Led by her adventurous spirit, Whitney moved through the world, hola-hoop in hand, delighting in the simplicity of life and the beauty of her surroundings. Her commitment to fitness and mindful movement as a therapeutic outlet was reflected in her pursuit of specialized Feldenkrais training, through which she sought to further her professional aspirations and help others feel their best.

Whitney is survived by her loving parents, Jeffery and Crystal Valentine; her sisters, Celena Valentine and Jessica Valentine-Escobar; her brother-in-law, Gilbert Escobar; her beloved niece and nephew, Marley and Scarlett; her loving fiancé, T.J. Hamlin, and a host of devoted family and friends.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, November 6th, 2026 from 2:00pm-6:00pm to honor Whitney’s life and the light she brought to so many. All who knew her are invited to join us as we celebrate her effervescent spirit and the love she so freely shared. We invite you to bring your memories, your stories, your laughter, and your love for Whitney as we gather to share in and celebrate the beauty of her life.

Whitney, you will forever be missed, but your radiance and spirit will continue to shine in our hearts. Rest in peace to our dearly beloved angel.
