Trudy Lorrayne Logsdon

Trudy Lorrayne Logsdon, Murphy, Texas, age 85, died Monday, August 22, 2022. She was born August 2,1937, in Hardesty, Oklahoma.

Trudy is survived by two daughters; Lynda Moseley and Lexa Rock (Barry); two stepsons; Scott Mathews (Hillarie) and Randy Mathews (Laura); one brother, Gary Spragins and Sharon and their three children, Brad Spragins, Valerie Spragins Trottier, and Alan Spragins; ten grandchildren: Luke Moseley (Mandi), Kelsey Eck (Mark), Jory Rock, Shelby Meeks (Garrett), MacKenzie Rock Jentsch (David), Beau Matthews, Lauren Matthews, David Matthews, Madelyn Matthews, and Jacob Matthews; five great grandchildren: Brooks Eck, Reagan Eck, Camille Eck, Emma Moseley, and Ellie Moseley.

Trudy’s education includes a degree from Texas Christian University followed by a master degree in English and Counseling, Baylor University. Throughout her lifetime she was able to impact lives in her various roles as a pastor’s wife, church organist, Baptist Student Union director, educator, and counselor.

The graveside service will be conducted at Elmhurst Cemetery, Guymon, Oklahoma, 1:00pm August 31, 2022 for family and friends by Pastor MacKenzie Rock Jentsch. Visitation at Henson – Novak Funeral Home will be 11:00am – 12:30pm prior to the service. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at First Baptist Church in Arlington on Friday September 30, at  10:00 a.m.
