Toney Lee Dempsey

Toney Lee Dempsey, 69, of Mineral Wells, went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 28,2025. He was born on August 29, 1956, in Mineral Wells, to the late William “Bill” and Pauline (Wilson) Dempsey. Toney was a 1974 graduate of Mineral Wells High School and was born and raised in the city. Toney will be remembered as the life of the party and the first to lend a helping hand to those in need. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, telling stories, and spending time with his family and friends. Toney’s love and dedication for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was to be admired. He put God first in every aspect of his life and hopes that everyone reading this will invite the Lord to come into their hearts. 

Toney is survived by his son, Anthony “TonEy Bill” Dempsey and his wife Rhianna; granddaughter, Evelyn Dempsey and grandson Lachlan Dempsey. In addition to his parents, Toney was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Dempsey, Bobby Dempsey, Cullen Grimes and Crockett Grimes. He will be greatly missed. 

Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life on Saturday, November 1, 4:30pm at Holiday Hills Country Club in Mineral Wells.
