Thomas Foster

Thomas Lee Foster "Tom" was born on May 2, 1943 in Shamrock, Texas. He graduated from Pampa High School and attended Southwestern A/G College in Waxahachie where he met the love of his life, Dorothy Jones Foster. In 1965, Tom and Dorothy were married and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on September 4, 2025.

 After college, Tom opened The Foster Agency and later started Tommy Lee Custom Homes with his son, Lee Foster. Tom loved his Lord, singing gospel music, playing piano, and playing golf. Throughout his life, Tom sang with multiple gospel groups including The Kings Sons Quarter, The Sounds of Calvary, and The Gatemen Trio.

 If you knew Tom, you knew he lived for his Lord and loved him with all his heart. His favorite verse, and one he repeated often, was John 14:14 "If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it". Tom loved his wife, Dorothy. She was the light of his life.

 Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Tamela Maureen Harper.

 He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Dorothy Foster of Arlington, Texas; one son, Jay "Lee" Foster and his wife Christie of Elyria, Ohio; Sherrye King (sister) of Flagstaff, Arizona; Marlene Wyant (sister) of Pampa, Texas; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

 A graveside service for Thomas Lee Foster will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012.
