Terry Ray Wooldridge, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle, peacefully passed away on August 15, 2024, in Creede, Colorado.
Terry was born on September 12, 1962, in Fort Worth, Texas, to his loving parents, Harold Duncan Wooldridge and Manisa Loretta Baker Wooldridge. Growing up on the south side of Fort Worth, Texas, Terry pursued his education at Arlington Baptist College in Arlington, Texas and Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, obtaining an Associate’s Degree.
Terry was a cherished husband to his devoted wife, Deborah Rager-Wooldridge, whom he married on November 14, 1987. Together, they raised two loving children, Elizabeth and Austin.
A man of strong faith, Terry was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he found solace and community. His love for singing, shopping, and savoring delicious cuisines brought joy to those around him, leaving cherished memories in the hearts of many.
During his professional career, Terry worked in the financial industry at Mercedes Benz Financial, showcasing his dedication and passion.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents Harold Duncan Wooldridge and Manisa Loretta Baker Wooldridge; granddaughter Braylee Ann Burnett; Donald Wayne Wooldridge; Ronald Gene Wooldridge; Gary Wooldridge, Darryl Wooldridge, Joe Harold Wooldridge; nephews Phillip Wooldridge and Boyce Wooldridge.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Rager-Wooldridge; daughter Elizabeth Wooldridge; son Austin Wooldridge; brother Charles Randall Wooldridge; his sister Rita Fine (husband Brian) as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Terry’s legacy will live on through them. Terry also held a special place in his heart for his seven grand dogs.
To honor Terry’s memory, a public visitation will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 24 at Friendship Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Terry’s funeral service will follow at 11:30am and a Graveside Service will be held at Bourland Cemetery in Keller, Texas at 2:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in Terry’s honor to the Daisy Ladies Group at Friendship Baptist Church, a cause that was close to his heart.
Terry’s gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and zest for life will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in the arms of the Lord.
