Terry Lee Lyle, Jr., a man of unwavering faith, quiet strength, and deep love, was called home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born on March 23, 1939, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Terry Lee Lyle and Lesbie Elizabeth Aldridge Lyle.

Terry passed away peacefully in his home, his happy place, surrounded by the family he cherished so dearly.

A devoted husband, Terry shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Pat. Together, they built a life rich in love, laughter, and faith, creating a family whose bond reflected the strength of their devotion. He is survived by his children: Kim Lyle Parker and husband Eddie of Aledo, TX; Mark Lyle and wife Jennifer of Brownsboro, TX; Gary Fairman of Arlington, TX; and Sandra McKown and husband Scott of Colorado Springs, CO.

Terry’s legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Cody Parker and wife Schyler of Aledo, TX; Tamrah Fairman and fiancé Phillip of Midlothian, TX; Alan Parker of Hico, TX; Alexis Parker of Corsicana, TX; Destiny Parker of Arlington, TX; Amber Parker and fiancé Nolan of Houston, TX; Emily Parker of Glen Rose, TX; Savannah Etheridge and husband Micah of Brownsboro, TX; Parker Lyle of Dallas, TX; Jennifer Lindsay and husband Matt of Houston, TX; Garrett Fairman of Rudd, OK; Courtney Fairman and partner Durgan of Tulsa, OK; and Sara Reed and husband Chris of Azle, TX.

Terry retired from General Motors after 41 years of loyal service. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a weapons mechanic. His admiration for military aircraft, especially the F-100 Super Sabre, which he worked on during his service, lasted throughout his life.

A faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Kennedale, Terry’s devotion to God and his church community was the cornerstone of his life. His steadfast belief in the power of prayer inspired all who knew him.

Terry found joy in life’s simple pleasures, tending his immaculate yard, spending time with family and friends, and sharing laughter around the canasta table on Friday nights. Above all, he deeply adored his beloved wife, Pat. Their marriage was a shining example of loyalty, devotion, and enduring love, an inspiration to everyone blessed to witness it.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Darlene Mayne, James Lewis Lyle, Myrtle McCoy, Hazel Murray, Willie Mae Moore, Roland Lyle, Robert Lyle, T.J. Lyle, Nema Wilson, Oliver Kinsey, and Jack Lyle; grandson Stevie Coe; and his faithful canine companion, Coco.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Parker, Cody Parker, Alan Parker, Sam Swink, Micah Etheridge, and Phillip Southerland.

Terry lived a life of faith, service, and love, a life that reflected his unwavering trust in God’s plan. His kindness, humility, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
