Susan Kay Adams, 68, loving mother of Julie and Christine, grandmother of Zoe and adoring wife of husband Eddy, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at her home in Arlington after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer.
The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington, Texas 76013. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the funeral home. Reverend Brenda Beaver is officiating. Susan will be laid to rest at 11am on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington, Texas.
Susan was born on October 5, 1957, in South Bend, Indiana, where she developed a lifelong love for Notre Dame football and cherished attending games throughout her life.
In 1973, her family moved to Jackson, Tennessee, where she completed her education, earned a degree in Hospitality Management, and obtained her Tennessee Real Estate License while raising her daughters.
Susan later moved to Texas in 2006, earning her Texas Real Estate License. She joined Alcon Laboratories in 2011 as an office manager, dedicating thirteen years there before retiring in May 2024.
After retirement, Susan devoted even more time to her love of travel, taking many new trips. Over her lifetime, she explored numerous countries and nearly all the United States, embracing every journey, whether by plane, train, cruise, or bus.
Surviving Susan includes the love of her life and best friend, Eddy Adams of Arlington, daughters, Julie Williams (Dan) Orlando, FL; Christine Casanova (Junior), Saginaw, TX, granddaughter Zoe Casanova; bonus sons, James Adams and Brian Adams.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Jay, Sr and Missouri Osborn, Wilfred and Jean LaFortune. Parents Jay, Jr and Dolores LaFortune Osborn and brother, Jay Osborn, III.
