Steven LaMonte Rothwell

Steven LaMonte Rothwell, born on January 13, 1956, in Oceanside, California, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, in Arlington, Texas. A devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, loyal friend, and respected manager in the environmental industry, Steven lived a life marked by hard work and an unwavering dedication to his family and community.

With a heart full of love, Steven cherished the years spent with his beloved wife, Cynthia Rothwell. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with warmth and laughter. Steven's legacy extends beyond his family; he was a pillar of support for his parents, Max and Nelda Walton, and for many friends who had the privilege of knowing him.

Throughout his life, Steven embodied a spirit of resilience and compassion. His commitment to making the world a better place was evident in both his professional endeavors and personal relationships. He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and the joy he brought into the lives of others.

Preceded in death by his mother, Nelda Walton; and daughter, Cathy Rothwell.

Survived by his loving wife, Cindy; his daughter, Sandy Rothwell; grandchildren, Josh, Steven, and Corey Rothwell; father, Max Walton; his brother, Bobby Rothwell; and additional family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Steven at Revive Church, 1221 S. Center Street, Arlington, Texas 76010, Saturday, October 25, 2025 2:00 – 4:00 PM.
