Saunda Lee Niblack, 91, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on October 9, 1933, in Seminole, Oklahoma, Saunda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Orville Asher Niblack; her cherished son, Gary Niblack; and her parents, Agnus Caldwell, Raymond Caldwell, and Peggy Caldwell Ward.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Tina Niblack Reddell and husband Steve; granddaughter, Dr. Leslie Reddell; grandson, Kyle Reddell and wife Emily; and her adored great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Noelle, and Jaxon. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Renea Wendling and husband Lee; as well as many close friends and extended relatives who were touched by her warmth and spirit.
Saunda was the heart of her family, creating a lifetime of memories at every holiday and special occasion, especially at her grandchildren’s events. Her deep love and dedication to her husband and family defined her life and left a lasting legacy of joy, strength, and grace.
A woman of strong faith, Saunda was an active and cherished member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Arlington. She was a founding member of the church’s Stephen Ministries, participated in Bible Study Fellowship, and found great joy in her Sunday School class. Her church community was an integral part of her life and faith journey.
An avid traveler, Saunda delighted in exploring the world, bringing home stories and treasures from her many international adventures and cruises. Her beautifully curated home reflected her love of travel, warmth, and hospitality. Saunda also loved tending her flower gardens, cooking delicious meals for family and friends, and sharing laughter and conversation over games of bridge. She proudly described herself as a social being, always on the go, and thriving in the company of others.
Her kindness, enthusiasm, and ability to make others feel loved and welcomed will be remembered by all who knew her.
