Ronnie Ray Winston Sr.

Ronnie Ray Winston Sr., 72, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.

Visitation: 1-5 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, at Wade Family Funeral Home, Belle Hall, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

Ronnie was born on November 13, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Leon Winston and Lillie Mae Taylor Winston. He graduated from Union High School in 1968. Ronnie played baseball and football. He married Susana Jimenez-Chimal in 1978.

Ronnie enjoyed baseball and football, handball, tennis, running and working out. He loved getting together for family gatherings, listening to music, and dancing with his wife.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Leon Winston; maternal grandmother, Ola B. Winston; and aunt, Claudia V. Scott.

Survivors: Wife, Susana Winston; daughters, Heidi and Faye; sons, Ronnie Jr. and wife Victoria, and Alex and wife, Elizabeth; mother, Lillie Mae Winston; grandchildren, Gianni, Zihanna, Santiago, Santana, Remy and Rae; siblings, Leon Jr. and wife, Ruth, Michael Wayne and wife, Charlene, and Unita Faye Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
