Ronald Scott Mott

Ronald Scott Mott, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 56. Ron grew up in Arlington and graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1988. He was well-loved by his many friends and enjoyed sports throughout his life, especially football and baseball.

Ron also had a passion for drag racing and working on cars. He became an excellent mechanic and a gifted handyman, often teaching himself how to repair electrical and plumbing problems by watching do-it-yourself videos. He was a man who enjoyed working with his hands and took pride in being able to help others.

Ron was a devoted Christian who truly loved the Lord and was a member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas. He will be remembered for his kindness, his willingness to help others, and the many ways he was always there to lend a helping hand.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Nathan L. Mott. He is survived by his loving mother, Vicki Allen; sister, Randi Allen; brother-in-law, Danny Nigro; nieces, Alyssa and Emily Nigro; cousin, Tyler Mott; along with numerous other cousins and his many wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Ron's memory.
