Robert Cole Larmer passed peacefully on July 20, 2026. His passing marks the close of a life blessed with family and lifelong friends. Bob was born to Jack Battle Larmer and Norma Ruth Cole in Fort Worth Texas on October 12, 1944.
He attended Eastern Hills High school where he excelled in basketball and forged friendships that continue to this day. He moved to Lubbock, Texas where he became a proud Red Raider at Texas Tech University graduating with a degree in accounting. He began his career as a CPA at the accounting firm of Weaver and Tidwell where he met his wife of 52 years, Nancy Carter. They married on September 28, 1973. After many years in public accounting Bob moved to the private sector as CFO of Classic Manufacturing. In 1992 a job with Life Port Inc. facilitated a move to Vancouver, Washington. He and Nancy loved their time exploring the Northwest and hosting family and friends. After 10 years it was time to return to Texas where he ended his career at C-Koe Metals.
Bob had lots of practice as Uncle Bob to so many nieces and nephews before becoming Papa to Lars and Erik. He was so proud of his grandsons.
Bob leaves behind his wife Nancy; daughter Scheri and husband Chris; son Tony Williams; grandsons Lars and wife Katie Hogan and Erik Hogan; Great Grandsons Louie and Tommy Hogan; Brother Jay and wife Rosalind Larmer; sister Jan Sharp; and family and friends too numerous to list. Until we meet again.
