Riley Preston Holloway, 68 years old, of Arlington, Texas, made his transition from this life to his heavenly home peacefully on May 21, 2026, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on August 23, 1957, to Clarence and Salome Holloway in Lansing, Michigan. Riley was the 8th child born into this loving family on the Eastside of Lansing. He attended Allen Street Elementary School, Pettengill Junior High School and then Eastern High School. Riley’s parents were avid fishermen and every weekend we were on a bank somewhere with poles thrown in the water waiting on that first bite. Riley took to fishing like his parents and loved the sport so much that we could always find him and his brother, Tommy, with a pole in the water somewhere.

One son was born to this union, Riley Preston Holloway, II., and he has three grandchildren and one on the way. He also had a special loving bond with his Great Niece Jordyn Patterson.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Clarence M Holloway in 1968, His Mother Salome M Holloway in 2009, his sister Ethel M Holloway in 1993, his brother Clarence S Holloway in 2014.
