Richard William Nevala peacefully passed away from esophageal cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Gertrude Nevala, and his beloved wife, Tina Nevala. Born in Superior, WI, in 1941, Richard graduated from Central High School in 1959. He became one of the youngest managers at Woolworth, which led him to Texas, where he continued his career in the aerospace industry until his retirement in 2002.
Richard's greatest joys were music and dancing. He is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Bill) Roark and Tonia Nevala; grandson, Jesse (Amanda) Smith; great-grandchildren, Mali and Larson Smith; stepdaughter, Schlyce (Bryan) Jiminez; and step-grandchildren, Lily and Ella Jiminez. His most cherished accomplishment was his faith in Jesus.
