Raymond "Rocky" Johnson

Raymond R. “Rocky” Johnson died May 10, 2025. He was born January 5, 1944 to Oscar and Eleanor Johnson in Rockford, Illinois. He came to Arlington, Texas in 1953. He was survived by his brother Roger Johnson, sister-in-law Sharon. Three nieces, Shannon Hassan from Boulder, Colorado. Lisa Ledyard from Arlington, Texas and Natalie Pickney from Miramar, Florida. Six great nieces and nephews. He attended Arlington High School and the University of Texas at Arlington receiving a Bachelor of Science He also attended the University of Texas at Austin for a Master of Science in Engineering. Raymond worked 40 years at Chance Vought/LTV/Loral /Lockhead Martin as an aerodynamicist. He did his best to be a good son and big brother. A memorial will be scheduled later in the year.
