Ralph Loyd Zeigler

Ralph Loyd Zeigler, age 93, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, at his residence at Lynridge of Arlington Assisted Living.

He was born on August 6, 1932, to the late Kenneth and Flora (Smith) Zeigler.

Ralph is survived by his six sons: Ralph William “Bill” Zeigler of Reedsville, West Virginia; Kenneth Zeigler of Morgantown, West Virginia; Danny Zeigler of Arizona; Gary Zeigler and his wife, Cynthia, of Arley, Alabama; Dennis Zeigler and his wife, Donna, of Tunnelton, West Virginia; and John Zeigler and his wife, Beverly, of Arthurdale, West Virginia; and one daughter, Donna Rushing and her husband, Arland, of Alma, Arkansas. He is also survived by his grandson, Garren Laughlin and his wife, Tori, of Arlington, Texas, and his granddaughter, Renea Tolson and her husband, Brad, also of Arlington, Texas.

Ralph honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1949 to 1951. In his younger years, he greatly enjoyed hunting, spending time at the shooting range, and racing cars—pursuits that reflected his adventurous spirit and appreciation for the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna Zeigler; his brothers, David, Marvin, and Donald Zeigler; and his sister, Helen Smith.
