Paul David Aguilar

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul David Aguilar, who left us on October 3, 2026, at the age of 73. Born in Dallas, Texas, on June 24, 1953, to Augustine and Carmen B. Aguilar, Paul was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Paul was a dedicated sheet metal mechanic, known for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship. He proudly served in the ROTC at Justin F. Kimball High School during his high school years. Volunteering with the ROTC group as an usher at the Cotton Bowl for the Dallas Cowboy games. A true Texan at heart, Paul was a passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys since 1960 and the Texas Rangers, often surrounded by family and friends as they cheered on their teams. Paul had a zest for life, finding joy at the casino and delighting in the rhythms of Tejano music. His quick wit and sarcastic humor brought laughter and smiles to all who knew him, making him a beloved jokester within his community.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Diana Cortez Aguilar; along with their children, Cynthia Aguilar Jensen and her husband, Mark, Paul David Aguilar II, and Vanessa L. Aguilar.
