Patsy Gayle
Follis
February 13, 1935 – March 14, 2026
Patsy Gayle Follis, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully on March 14, 2026, in Arlington, Texas. She was born on February 13, 1935, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Wilburn Lee Thomas and Grace Jones Thomas. Patsy lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to her family.
Those who knew Patsy will always remember her bright spirit and gentle heart. Family was the center of her world, and she poured her love into every moment spent with them. She took great joy in caring for others, especially through her wonderful cooking. Her kitchen was a place where laughter, stories, and the comforting aroma of a home-cooked meal brought everyone together.
One of Patsy’s greatest joys in life was being a grandmother—lovingly known as “Mee Mee.” Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were treasures to her, and she delighted in every hug, smile, and milestone they shared. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Miranda Phelps, Beth Miller, and Ben Follis; and her beloved great-grandchildren: Brooke Hanson, Charlotte and Bennett Miller, and Belle and Blaine Follis.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn Lee Thomas and Grace Jones Thomas; her brother, James Thomas; and her children, Jim (Bonnie) Follis, Jeff Follis, and her dear daughter Beverly Baker. Though she experienced deep loss in her life, her faith in God carried her through with strength and grace.
A devoted member of NW Christian Church, Patsy loved her church family dearly. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she found comfort and joy in fellowship and worship. She lived her life with a servant’s heart, reflecting Christ’s love in the kindness she showed to others.
Patsy also found happiness in the simple joys of life. She loved decorating, shopping, and spending special time with her beloved daughter Beverly. Her fondness for the colors purple and pink reflected her warm, joyful personality and her love for beauty and celebration.
Though Patsy’s earthly journey has come to an end, her legacy of love, faith, and devotion lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. The family finds peace in knowing that she is now resting in the presence of the Lord, reunited with those who went before her.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
