Patricia Marquita "Pat" Lyle, lovingly known as "Nanny" by her family, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2026, in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 83.

Patricia was born on December 28, 1942, in Gorman, Texas, in Eastland County, to Garland B. Boyd and Ila Mae Singleton. She was raised with the values of faith, family, and love that would guide her throughout her life.

On the journey of life, Patricia found the love of her life in Terry Lee Lyle Jr. Together they shared a beautiful marriage of 62 years, building a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Terry preceded her in death on October 14, 2025, and there is comfort in knowing they are joyfully reunited in the presence of the Lord.

Patricia's greatest accomplishment and deepest calling was being a loving wife, devoted mother, and faithful homemaker. While she faithfully worked as a clerical employee at the Federal Archives in Fort Worth, Texas, the role she treasured most was caring for her family. She poured her heart into creating a loving home where her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren always knew they were cherished.

She leaves behind her beloved children, Mark (Jennifer) Lyle and Kim (Eddie) Parker, Gary Fairman, and Sandra McKown, who will forever carry her love and wisdom in their hearts.

Patricia was a proud and loving "Nanny" to her grandchildren: Cody Parker, Alan Parker, Garrett Fairman, Tamrah (Phillip) Fairman, Alexis Parker, Amber Parker, Destiny Parker, Savannah (Micah) Etheridge, Emily Parker, Parker Lyle, Schyler Parker and Cody Parker. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Levi, Sawyer, Caroline, Adeline, Olivia, Lincoln, Cayson, Taylor, Brynlee, and Bailee, each of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life.

Her family was the center of her world. Nothing made Patricia happier than spending time with those she loved. Whether gathered around the table, sharing stories, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying one another's company, she made everyone feel welcome, valued, and deeply loved.

Patricia was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ whose trust in the Lord shaped every aspect of her life. Her faith gave her strength through life's joys and sorrows, and she lived as a quiet example of kindness, compassion, and grace. She was an active member of her church family and treasured the friendships she shared with her TaTa's group and her Bunco Ladies. Those who knew Patricia will remember her gentle spirit, warm smile, generous heart, and steadfast love for others.

Patricia's legacy is one of unwavering faith, enduring love, and selfless devotion to her family. She leaves behind countless precious memories that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Lee Lyle Jr.; her parents, Garland B. Boyd and Ila Mae Singleton, and her brother Sidney Boyd; and now rests in the eternal peace of her Savior.

Her family finds comfort in knowing that because of her faith in Jesus Christ, this is not goodbye, but "until we meet again."
