Nicole McNutt

Nicole Evans McNutt, beloved mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on April 29, 2025 at 62 years old.

Born on August 10, 1962, Nicole lived a life marked by deep faith, boundless love, and a passion for teaching that touched countless lives. Nicole loved learning, having received her BS/Elementary Ed and MEd/Public School Administration Certification from University of North Texas. A gifted math teacher for over two decades, Nicole brought numbers to life for her students in Irving ISD and Arlington ISD. Her classroom was a place of laughter, learning, and creativity. Her teaching went far beyond the curriculum; she inspired confidence, joy, and curiosity in every student she met.

Nicole was a woman of unwavering faith, known for her love of Jesus and her warm, generous heart. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as hunting for treasures at estate sales, spending quiet afternoons reading at the local library, and gathering with family for shared meals and stories. Her love for her family was fierce and full. She was the proud mother of two wonderful sons, Carter and Corbin, and the adoring grandmother of Callum Lee McNutt, who brought her endless pride and happiness.

She is preceded in death by her dear father, Jerry Evans, and her beloved son, Carter McNutt. Though their loss was deeply felt, Nicole remained a beacon of strength, her faith never wavering. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with them, whole and healed in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly.

Nicole leaves behind a legacy of strong faith, love, laughter, and learning. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family, her former students, and all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Nicole is survived by her son, Corbin, daughter-in-law, Kailey; grandson, Callum McNutt; mother, Andrea Evans; sister, Michelle Brockenbush; brother, Kenneth Evans, sister-in-law, Crystal; and loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
