Nancy E. (Dunkin) Stepp

Nancy Dunkin Stepp, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2025. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, at 11 a.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 Pioneer Parkway in Arlington. Interment will be at the Tate Cemetery in Arlington. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 9, from 2-4 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Tate Cemetery Association, a private community cemetery in Arlington.

Nancy was born on July 29, 1930, to Rubin and Gladys Williams Dunkin. She graduated from Handley High School and years later, after each of her children had graduated from their respective colleges, she returned to school while continuing to work full-time. She earned a degree from North Texas University and went on to achieve her CPA certification. Nancy worked at TXI (Texas Industries) for more than 25 years, retiring from there in 1993, having worked her way up from an accounting clerk to manager of financial accounting.

She was preceded in death by her husband A.F. Stepp; son, David Stepp; parents, Ruben and Gladys Dunkin; sister, Emma Lee Lavender; and brothers, William Dunkin and Don Dunkin.

She is survived by her son, Keith Stepp (Michaelene); daughter Mona Gandy; grandchildren Teresa Stepp Neal, Dave Stepp (Jennifer), Timothy Stepp, Liam Gandy, Barbara Stepp, and Callum Stepp; great grandchildren Isaak Flores and Kara Neal; and sister-in-law Ann Dunkin, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.
