IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Morris Gene
Williams
October 2, 1948 – February 7, 2026
Morris Gene Williams, known to many simply as "Mo," passed away on February 7, 2026, in Arlington, Texas, leaving behind sawdust in the garage, half-finished projects, and a lifetime of stories that will be told (and retold) for generations.
Morris was born on October 2, 1948, in Center, Texas to Thomas J. Williams and Ramona Harris Williams. From an early age, he was interested in how things worked, often taking items apart to see how they operated-whether he was supposed to take them apart or not. He had a lifelong love of music, especially guitars, and found joy in anything that allowed him to create with his hands.
Over the years, he worked in construction and spent many dedicated years as a technician at Siemens before retiring-though "retired" simply meant he had more time for fishing, woodworking, and photography.
A natural storyteller, "Mo" had a gift for making people laugh, usually with a perfectly timed grin and a tale that may have grown just a little better with each telling. He lived life fully approaching each day with humor and heart.
Morris was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Ramona Williams, and his nephew, Josh McBroom. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela Susan (Clopp) Williams, and by the true lights of his life his two daughters, Suzanne Williams and Jennifer Williams, whom he loved more than anything in the world. He was a proud grandfather to Makaila Arriola. He is also survived by his siblings: Sheila (Richard) Allen, Terry (Linda) Williams, and Kallai Middleton, along with many extended family members and friends who were lucky enough to know him.
Morris will be remembered as a fun-loving man with a creative spirit and an unmatched ability to turn ordinary moments into memorable ones. His legacy lives on in the things he built, the stories he told, the music he played, and the people he cherished.
