With hearts full of love and gratitude, we announce the peaceful passing of Mildred Leora Milam Esposito, who departed this life on May 13, 2025, at the remarkable age of 102. Born on January 17, 1923, in Denison, Texas, Mildred lived a long and inspiring life defined by compassion, resilience, and unwavering devotion to others.
A proud nurse by profession, Mildred spent her life caring for others with grace, empathy, and dedication. Her gentle spirit and tireless service left a lasting impression on all who had the honor of knowing her.
Mildred was a devoted mother to Charles Milam and Becky Fiore, and she lovingly embraced two bonus daughters, Francine and Karen, and son in law Mike Stovall. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured her role as a grandmother to Jason Milam, Shane Johnston, Lindsey Fiore, Alexa Bodedeker, Crystl Curry, Cole and Cade Risinger. Her legacy lives on through great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who brought light and laughter to her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Philip Esposito; her son, Ronald Marshal Milam; and daughter Barbara Stovall. Also preceding her were William McAlpine, Ernest Orr, and Stella Orr.
Mildred will be remembered for her strength of spirit, sharp wit, and deep compassion. She leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will continue to inspire future generations. She was truly a blessing to everyone whose lives she touched.
In honor of Mildred’s remarkable life, the family invites all who knew her to join in remembering and celebrating her legacy.
