Mary Leah Leasman, 78, passed away on April 22, 2025, in Richland Hills, Texas, after a courageous battle with late-stage leukemia.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Leasman, and her brothers, Larry and Tony Montero. She is survived by her son, Rob Leasman and his wife Tina; her daughter, Deborah Walker and her husband Kevin; her brother, Mike Montero; and her sisters, Sharon Valerio and Karen Sellars. Born on April 4, 1947, in Hayward, California, to Joseph and Juana Montero, Mary married the love of her life, Bobby, in San Francisco in 1963. Throughout Bobby’s 23-year military service, the couple lived in various cities across Texas and California, ultimately settling in Arlington, Texas, upon his retirement.
Mary was a devoted member of Harmony Baptist Church in Arlington, where she found community and strength. She had a deep love for reading her Bible, enjoyed time with friends, working puzzles, playing online games, and indulging in shopping trips.
Her warmth, faith, and love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
