Margaret Louise Schwettmann

Margaret Louise Schwettmann, age 86, passed away peacefully on August 2nd, 2025. She was born on March 12th, 1939 in Shreveport, Louisiana to her parents, T.A. DeLoach and Mildred Gloer DeLoach.

Margaret moved to Bellmead, Texas at a young age where she graduated from LaVega High School. After graduation, she worked as a secretary at American Amicable Life. She met her husband, Marvin Schwettmann, through his sister and her coworker, Lucy. She adored camping and traveling with her family, and regardless of the distance, she was always present at her children's and grandchildren's sporting events and performances.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Marvin; her three children, Brian Schwettmann, Sandy Sheely and boyfriend James McKissick, and Lynn Schwettmann; her grandchildren Chris Schwettmann and wife Nicole Schwettmann, Chelsea Benzvi and husband Liam Benzvi, Claire Schwettmann and boyfriend Julien Martinez, Hannah Castillo and husband Frank Castillo, Kaylie Sheely, Karisa Sheely, Mady Schwettmann and boyfriend Kaelob Jones. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and daughter-in-law Debbie Schwettmann.

All are welcome to join us in celebrating her life at the visitation on Friday night, 8/15/2025 from 6-8 P.M. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 West Pioneer Pkwy, Arlington, TX 76013. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, 8/16/2025 at 2 P.M. at St John Lutheran Church, 1218 E. Debbie Ln., Mansfield, TX 76063.
