Margaret Faye Mann

Margaret Faye Mann, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of Christ, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2025, at the age of 92 in Mansfield, Texas.

Born on October 25, 1932, in Decatur, Texas, Margaret was the beloved daughter of J.C. McSpadden and Mable Stallings McSpadden. She graduated from Decatur High School in 1950 and went on to marry the love of her life, Ernest Rue Mann, on October 5, 1951. Together they shared 71 beautiful years of marriage, building a life grounded in faith, love, and family. They were blessed with two cherished daughters.

Margaret found purpose and fulfillment in both her work and her home. She was employed as a secretary, a role in which she served with diligence and grace. However, her greatest joy was in caring for her family and nurturing the relationships that meant the most to her. A devoted Christian, Margaret was baptized at a young age and remained a faithful member of Meadow Lane Baptist Church in Arlington for many years. She found joy and fellowship in the ladies' Sunday School Class, where she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime.

To her family, Margaret was simply "Meema"—a loving, nurturing presence who delighted in spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who were fortunate to know her.

She is survived by her loving daughter Vicki and son-in-law David; grandsons and wives Michael and Mary Stephens, Craig and Courtney Stephens, Grant and Ilse Stephens; and five great-grandchildren: Austin, Charley, Cooper, Nohemy, and Mila.

Margaret’s legacy is one of kindness, faith, and deep devotion to her family. She will be profoundly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
