Linda Karen Threlkeld, 74, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Linda was born at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, Texas on July 6, 1951 to Maj. Robert and Darlene Tarver.
Linda was an avid reader, and she enjoyed many different crafts including painting and quilting. Some would say that she was a collector of crafts. Linda was a long-time employee of Freed Appliance Distributors where she worked for more than 22 years, and after that she worked in the office at Handley Baptist Church before retiring.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Threlkeld; son-in-law Easton McDowell; and brother-in-law, Curtis Tedford.
She was survived by her daughter, Kelley Dews; and son, Casey Threlkeld (Amber); grandchildren, Petty Officer 2nd Class Miles Dews, Tiffany Land, Jada Compton (Taylor), Alayna Threlkeld, and Israel McDowell; sisters, Nancy Masse (Eugene) and Carol Tedford; and nieces and nephews, Michael Masse (Dianne), Michelle Ontis (Steve), Clarissa Tedford, and Christopher Tedford (Stevie).
Funeral Services will be held at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76013.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday, August 9, 2025 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm.
Graveside will be Monday, August 11, 2025 at DFW National Cemetery at 1:15 pm.
