With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the beautiful life of Linda Kay Graves, who passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, in Arlington, Texas, at the age of 77.
Born on August 30, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas, to O.V. and Opal Lynch, Linda was a bright light from the very beginning. A proud graduate of Arlington High School, Linda remained rooted in her community throughout her life, finding joy and purpose in the relationships she nurtured and the lives she touched.
Linda was a devoted wife to the late Johnny Joe Graves, and together they built a loving family, and a life filled with laughter, faith, and devotion. She was the proud and loving mother of Tamera (Kelly) Stone, Teresa (Russell) Carty, and John Graves. Her heart swelled with pride and joy for her grandchildren: Morgan, Kolby, and Lukas Stone, Austin and Brandon Graves—each of whom she cherished dearly.
She is survived by her beloved brother, Clifton Lynch, and is now reunited in peace with her sister, Patricia Weldon, and her dear parents.
Linda’s warmth extended far beyond her family. As a longtime volunteer with the Arlington Police Department, she gave generously of her time and heart, becoming a comforting and dependable presence for many in the community. Her compassionate spirit and unwavering kindness left an imprint on all who knew her.
Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved the excitement of bowling, bingo and bunko nights, and she was rarely seen without a good book nearby. Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her many friends, who knew her as a source of laughter, strength, and unconditional love.
Her legacy is one of kindness, quiet strength, and a heart that never stopped giving. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life lived fully and lovingly. She will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
A visitation will be held at Wade Family Funeral Home, where all who loved Linda are welcome to gather, remember, and share in her remarkable story.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Arlington Police Department—continuing her legacy of service and love.
