Laurie Lane Tittle, 68, passed away peacefully in Arlington, Texas, on April 14, 2026.
A public viewing will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington, Texas 76013. The celebration of life will be held at 10am on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at First United Methodist Church of Arlington, 313 N. Center St., Arlington, Texas 76011, with a reception to follow at 11:30am at Arlington Woman’s Club, 1515 W. Abram St., Arlington, Texas 76013.
She was born on May 17, 1957, in El Paso, Texas, to Doris (Miley) Simpson and Frank Simpson. Laurie built a life centered on community, friendship, and family, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Laurie served as the Agenda Consultant at Stein Mart in Los Colinas, assisting with fashion shows, as well as Stein Mart first commercial before becoming the business manager at the Arlington Woman’s Club, where she dedicated 11 years before retiring. She was an active and cherished member of several organizations, including the Arlington Woman’s Club, the Rainbow Sunday School Class, Interbrook Woman’s Club, and Wine and Whine. Within the Arlington Woman’s Club, she contributed her time and talents to Creative Living, Building and Grounds, and served as Co-Chairperson of the beloved Christmas Tea.
Laurie had a gift for making people feel welcome—she never met a stranger and truly enjoyed talking and getting to know others. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, from watching a good television show to sharing laughter with friends at supper club gatherings or Wine and Whine events.
She had a deep love for cooking and was known as an exceptional cook, especially cherished for the pancakes she lovingly made for her grandchildren and family. Time spent with loved ones was her greatest joy. Laurie also had a passion for travel and embraced every opportunity to experience new places and adventures.
Laurie is survived by her loving husband, Kevin Tittle; daughters, Lauren (Joe) Hackett, and Megan (Patrick) Ohail; beloved grandchildren, Caden Hackett, Clara Hackett, Oliver Ohail, and Austin Ohail; sisters, Linda Long and Sandy Mexal; brother, Frank Simpson.
Laurie will be remembered for her boundless warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit. A woman who truly "never met a stranger," she possessed a rare gift for making everyone she encountered feel uniquely cherished and welcomed them into her life with open arms. Her legacy of unconditional love will live on in the hearts of the family and friends she held so dear; her absence leaves a void that will be felt deeply by all who knew her.
