Larry Craig Armour was born in Dallas, Texas on December 4, 1952 to Max & Dana Armour.

During his school years and beyond, Larry made many lasting friendships that would continue throughout his adult life.

After high school, Larry joined the US Army and became a proud veteran and patriot for our country.

He continued his higher education during and after college with studies including the medical field, history, music (enhancing his knowledge and skills in playing numerous instruments covering a variety of genres), and martial arts (achieving the level of expertise that allowed him to become a Sensei where he could share his love of the arts with others through teaching and instruction).

Larry had many hobbies and activities he loved such as reading, listening to music, riding bikes of all kinds (unicycles, bicycles, Harley Davidsons, etc.), attending concerts and countless festivals (Folk, Irish, Renaissance, Scottish, etc.), and he enjoyed watching and joining in with other musicians by playing instruments and singing along at various locations and events including open mic nights and he even recorded his own CD.

He was a member of various clubs and groups such as the Unicycle Club, Highlander Clan, Longhorn Chapter Harley Owners Group (HOG), Arlington High School Alumni, and BMW Mini Alumni.

Larry was a great man who was well loved by his friends and family. He never met a stranger he couldn’t strike up a conversation with and he was well-versed on almost any topic. He left an undeniable imprint upon the lives of his family and friends. He will truly be missed.

Larry was preceded in death by his dad, Max Armour; his sisters, Darsa Owens and Janet Combs; and his fur babies, Jewel and Ruby.

Larry is survived by his mom, Dana Armour; his uncle, Gene Lam and his wife Maudie; his niece, Krystle Clark and her husband Adam; his sister-by-heart, Dianna Younger; and numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
