Arlington

Lamont Dwight Frawley, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, in Arlington, Texas. He was born on July 20, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, and spent his childhood growing up in Arlington, where he laid down deep roots that would last a lifetime.

Lamont attended Blanton Elementary, Carter Junior High, and graduated from Sam Houston High School with the Class of 1968. While still a teenager, he married his childhood friend and the love of his life, Mary Kathleen "Kathi" Frawley, on June 14, 1969. Together, they shared a beautiful life built on faith, love, family, and adventure.

Lamont was a proud and hardworking man who built a successful career owning and operating his own construction company. He was known not only for his strength and determination but also for his larger-than-life personality and protective nature. Lamont was the kind of man who made others feel safe and cared for, traits that endeared him to all who knew him.

An avid outdoorsman, Lamont loved to hunt and cherished his time at his deer lease in Palo Duro Canyon. He was happiest surrounded by family, whether it was traveling to favorite destinations like Hawaii and Cancun with Kathie, hosting memorable Italian dinners at Christmas, or spending time by the grill perfecting his barbecue. He took great joy in planning special anniversary celebrations for Kathie, always making them meaningful and unforgettable.

A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, Lamont rarely missed a game. More importantly, he was a man of deep faith, attending St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with his wife Kathi, where he found strength and community throughout his life.

Lamont was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Willard Frawley and Lois Jean Frawley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Kathleen Frawley, his son, Hiero Frawley, his daughter, Andrea Baylor, his brother, Scott Frawley, and his grandchildren Ashton Baylor, Canon Baylor, and Azlyn Frawley. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Lamont's life was one of faith, family, hard work, and love. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him most.
