Kyle Zane Moore

Kyle Zane Moore, 62, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on August 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and loyalty. Born on May 1, 1963, Kyle grew up in Arlington with his older brother, and younger sister.

A proud Texan and proud American, Kyle lived life with a big heart and an even bigger sense of humor. Whether he was grilling for a crowd, camping with family and friends, traveling to new places, or catching a Texas music concert, Kyle knew how to make every moment count. A major foodie, he’d try anything once—and usually twice—especially if it came with bacon. He enjoyed bourbon, a good cigar, and watching football (especially Texas Tech). He was a member of the Elks lodge where he loved to play Queen of Hearts and watch Cowboys football. His favorite movies included National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Lonesome Dove, Tombstone, and Talladega Nights.

Kyle’s career spanned two successful chapters: 25 years at the Fort Worth Star- Telegram, where he worked his way up from the night press to management, and later as an independent appraiser. He was respected for his work ethic and his ability to connect with everyone he met.

Faith was central to Kyle’s life. Saved as a child, he rededicated his life to Jesus when he met the love of his life, Cindy Allen Moore. The two were married on October 30, 2010, building a life together filled with joy, adventure, and a strong foundation of faith. Kyle was most proud of raising two daughters who also committed their lives to Christ. He was also very proud of his two stepsons whom he loved like his own.

Family was everything to Kyle. He cherished camping trips, family vacations, river adventures, pool days, movie nights at Christmas, and shooting with his sons-in-law and stepsons on Thanksgiving. He had a special bond with his grandchildren—Addyson, 13 (“Lil Punkin”), Zane, 10 (“Bubs” or “Little Man”), and Charlotte, 4 (“Charlie” or “Lil Bit”). From sharing popcorn in bed with Papa and Sweetie to cheering them on in life, Kyle poured his heart into being the best grandfather possible.

Kyle’s life can be summed up by the phrases he lived by: “It’s been quite a party.;” Cindy’s “Everybody needs a Kyle;” and the grandbabies’ “We love you Papa.” He was funny, one-of-a-kind, gentle, caring, happy, and always ready for a good time. He never said no when it came to helping others or making memories.

Kyle leaves behind his beloved wife, Cindy; his Mother Brenda; his daughter Charity(husband Mike), his daughter Cameron(husband Charles); stepson Jason(wife Crystal); stepson David; his brother Kent; his sister Shawn(husband Mike); his treasured grandchildren Addyson, Zane, and Charlie; and countless family members and friends who will forever remember his generous spirit and unforgettable laugh.
