Kristi Baxter Bradley, 71, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on March 18, 2026. Born on August 13, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas, Kristi lived a life defined by her unwavering faith, dedication to her family and career, and her remarkable ability to lead and inspire. Kristi was the youngest graduate from the demanding two year RN program at TCC Nursing School in 1974 and went on to earn a double Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing and a Master of Health Administration. Her career in nursing was marked by excellence and professionalism. She was instrumental in creating the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center at DFW Medical Center, where her skills as both a nurse and manager earned her numerous awards and accolades, including Nurse 100. She later worked for Charleston Methodist hospital, leading their telemetry unit, then a nurse administrator for Arlington Memorial, before finishing her career at Sutter Health Solano as an administrator for ten years.

She was truly born to care for and heal others, lead with compassion and brought up the next generation of nurses to do the same. A devoted Christian throughout her life, Kristi found strength and community in her faith. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she participated in a Bible study group that brought her great joy and spiritual growth.

Kristi is survived by her loving husband, Dee Bradley; her sons Patrick Chance and wife Amber Chance, Justin Chance and wife Sarah Chance; as well as 4 beautiful grandchildren Lucas Chance, Caroline Chance, Emily Chance, and Joey Trimm. She also leaves behind her Mother Shirley Baxter; sisters Kathi Roark and Kim Haney; along with many extended family members and close friends who will miss her dearly. Kristi was predeceased by her biological mother Thursa Graves Baxter, father Andrew Baxter, and sister Cyndi Baxter Howsley.

In addition to her professional accomplishments and devotion to family, Kristi had a passion for bringing people together. She served as the organizer of the Sam Houston Reunion Committee for several years, demonstrating the same dedication and organizational skill that defined every aspect of her life. Kristi’s legacy is one of love, faith, and service. Her capable nature combined with a warm heart made an indelible impact on everyone who knew her. May the memory of Kristi bring comfort to all who mourn this profound loss.
