Kay Lynn Lancaster

Kay Lynn Lancaster (formerly Hiser) was greeted by the Lord on August 29, 2026. She passed peacefully at home after receiving communion alongside her devoted husband, Gary, and children.

A fourth-generation member of the First United Methodist Church of Arlington, Kay was deeply rooted in the church community and proud of her family's tradition of service in Arlington. Her life reflected a commitment to education and ministry, and her influence will continue to thrive within the FUMC church family.

Kay lived in a manner that inspired others. She brought joy, encouragement, and a steady example of faith to all who knew her.

Kay and her husband Gary were avid travelers, especially drawn to historical religious landmarks. Their journeys enriched their spiritual lives and created lasting friendships. At home, Kay never missed an opportunity to support the Texas Rangers or relax by the pool with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kay leaves a legacy of love, acceptance, and faith. She is succeeded by family and friends who will cherish her memory until they are reunited in God's presence.
