Kathryn Elizabeth Anderson Jackson was born at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on August 17, 1928, to Mary and Fred Anderson. After enjoying many years on US Army posts, her father, US Army Master Sergeant Anderson, completed his military career and brought his family to Arkansas to retire.
Kathryn graduated from Paragould High School and then moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas where she worked for many years at Southwestern Bell, Malvern Minerals and Landmark Bank.
She married Delmer Jackson of Hot Springs, Arkansas on June 25, 1949. She and Delmer served faithfully at Park Place Baptist Church for over forty years.
In the year 2000, she moved to Arlington, Texas where she served alongside her family at Fielder Church for over twenty years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer, her grandson, Drew Smith and her sister, Helen Walker.
She had four children: Sandra Smith (Dr. Gary A. Smith), Tom Jackson (Pam Jackson) , Rebecca Dennis (Kenny Dennis), Leigh Bryant (Rod Bryant).
She deeply loved her 11 grandchildren: Katy Rowe, Matt Smith, Jennifer Keys, Jonathan and Joshua Jackson, Suzanne Egan, Kenny And Scott Dennis, Paul Bryant, and Rebecca Loudamy.
She cherished her 20 great-grandchildren: Ashton, Alyssa, Abby and Alex Price, Oliver Rowe, Andrew and Harmony Smith, Jack and Carter Keys, Piper and Evan Egan, Bradley, Eli and Forrest Dennis, Sawyer and Sutton Dennis, Charlie and Theo Bryant, and Judson Loudamy.
Kathryn was loved and respected by her family, her work colleagues and her treasured friends. Facing each season of her life with courage and grace, her love for Jesus sustained her strength. She will be remembered by her loved ones for her sweet faithfulness.
Thank you, Father, for the meaningful impact that she had on our lives generationally with her unconditional love.
