Josmar Jadiel Casiano, cherished son, brother, and loved one, passed away on September 16, 2024, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 15. He was born on July 9, 2009, in Arlington, Texas, to Jonathan Casiano and April Soto. A bright and loving young man, Josmar was a 9th-grade student with a bright future ahead of him.
Josmar was known for his kind heart, infectious smile, and deep love for his family and friends. Josmar was selfless, silly and always willing to help and uplift others . He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was and always will be a bright light in our lives. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
He is survived by his mother, April Soto; father, Jonathan Casiano; stepmother, Jasmine Hernandez; brother, Jax Casiano; grandparents, Wanda Torres, Maria and Alfonso Soto, Carlos Casiano, and Sarah Hernandez; and aunts and uncles, Yamil Casiano, Richard Rodriguez, Alfonso Soto, Miguel Lopez, Wandaly Rodriguez, and Bianca Johnson. He is also survived by additional aunts and uncles, Gershon Hernandez, Sarah Hernandez, Cayla Hernandez, Marco Millan, Matias Hernandez, Ruth Hernandez, Brandon Johnson, and Maddie Soto, as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2024, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Josmar's life and offer their support to his family during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Josmar. Your light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew you.
