Joe Lopez was born on April 16, 1957, in El Paso, TX. He passed away on May 30, 2025, in Dallas, TX at the age of 68, with his family by his side.
He was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was married to his wife, Norma Lopez, for 34 years—half his life spent side by side. Together, they raised two children, Bobby Lopez and Alexis Lopez, who were always close to his heart. He also had two other loving children, Karrie Lopez and Eliana Lopez, and was blessed with five beautiful grandchildren. They all brought immense joy and love into his life. He is also lovingly remembered by his mother, Anita Lopez, his father, Arturo Lopez and his five siblings, all whom shared in the bonds of family.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business, which sparked a lifelong passion for his work. He was a dedicated and hardworking man throughout every stage of his life. Known for his strength, intelligence, ambition, charisma, humor, and cheerful spirit.
He was admired and respected by many. Colleagues and friends often described him as a leader with integrity, kindness, humility, and known for his warm social nature, he could make friends wherever he went.
He had a passion for sports—he loved watching and playing them. He especially enjoyed golf and baseball, cherished lake days with his family, and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed his time going to the gym.
His dearest family, described him as truly one of a kind. Everyone who knew him knew exactly who he was—and loved him for it. He cared deeply for those he loved. He leaves behind a legacy of unforgettable memories, laughter, and love. His presence was so powerful that losing him leaves a void that cannot be filled. Yet, we carry forward the beautiful memories and moments we shared with him deep in our hearts.
God has called him home, and we know he was received with open arms. He is at peace now, and though we miss him dearly, we find comfort in remembering the life he lived and the love he gave.
May his soul rest in peace, for heaven has gained an angel.
