In Loving Memory of Jose Garcia
Jelo was a lifelong learner who always wanted to know more. A well-informed follower of global events and history, he instilled his love of learning in his children, who he would often take to the library growing up. Jelo would share contemplative and insightful conversation with anyone, and was a great listener who shared the wisdom gained from his immense life experience with those around him.
Aside from his wife and children, Jelo loved his granddaughters and found immeasurable happiness in spending time with them, often giving them rides around the house. He also deeply cared for animals, especially his dogs Blaze and Fluffy. Jelo took care of the ducks and cats that found a home in his backyard, feeding them and turning the porch light on to make sure they were always comfortable. He loved the tranquility of a quiet park and found joy in the simple pleasures of life - especially a hot cup of coffee or glass of Coke Zero.
While he is gone from this world too soon, Jelo’s tireless love and dedication to his family have left a spirit of generosity, honesty, and loyalty that endures in his family. They are living the better life he worked so hard to build.
Jose Angel was preceded in death by his mother, Juana Adame Fraire, and his father, Dario Garcia Jacquez.
He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Hernandez Alvarado; his children, Juana Maria Garcia (Nicholas Joseph Gallion), Yosiel Garcia (Bertha Edith Jimenez), and Maria de los Angeles Garcia (Gino Paulo Mendoza); his granddaughters, Olivia Claire Gallion Garcia and Emma Garcia Jimenez; his brothers, Dario Garcia Adame and Bernardo Garcia Adame; and his sister, Maria Magdalena Garcia Adame.
