John Kincaid Anderson

John Kincaid Anderson, 72, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025. Born on December 31, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas, he was the beloved son of Austin Anderson and Mary Dodd Anderson. John’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

A talented chef, John devoted his career to the culinary arts, primarily in the hotel restaurant industry, where his creativity and passion shone brightly. His time working at the Worthington Hotel's family was a fond memory for him. His colleague’s were among his favorites. He will be remembered by them for his generous spirit and engaging smile.

He was known not only for his exquisite dishes but also for his ability to bring people together through the love of food and wine and creating an atmosphere of togertherness and fun. His chocolate cake was a an expected dish at birthdays and Special occasions.

John is survived by his sister, Mary Claire Lane, her husband Rick, their sons, Trey and Andrew and families; and brother, Scott Anderson, his daughter, Deidre and her family. And his sister-in-law, Rita Anderson and her children, Aaron and Mary Beth and famly.

He is preceded in death By his Beloved wife, Lauren Anderson and his brother, Austin Flint Anderson, who was also part of his dart team Brothers Grimm. He and Flint were a dynamic duo at darts

A celebration of John’s life will be held at Wade Funeral Home, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm.

Reception to follow from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm where family and friends will gather to share their cherished memories.

John's legacy will be anchored in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be remembered as a true friend with a compassionate soul. May he rest in peace, knowing the love he shared will continue to resonate in our lives.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Ft Worth ASPCA, that his wife Lauren was a strong advocate for, would be welcomed. She and John were also foster parents for a lot of the cats and kittens when needed.
