Jerry Lee Pierson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and faithful servant of Christ, passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Savior on June 18, 2026, in Kennedale, Texas, at the age of 75.

Jerry was born on December 1, 1950, in Eldora, Iowa, to Russell Pierson and Clara Pierson Mason. Throughout his life, he exemplified kindness, integrity, faith, and a genuine love for people. He was a devoted Christian whose life reflected the teachings of Jesus through his compassion, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need. Whether assisting a friend, neighbor, or complete stranger, Jerry never hesitated to lend a helping hand.

Jerry was a proud graduate in Aerospace Engineering and dedicated many years of service to Lockheed Martin, where his intelligence, innovation, and commitment to excellence earned him numerous engineering awards and the respect of colleagues throughout his career. He was also an active member of the Society of Allied Weight Engineers (SAWE), contributing his knowledge and expertise to the engineering community.

While Jerry achieved much professionally, his greatest joy came from his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to his cherished wife, Sandra Elaine Pierson of 33 years. Together they built a life centered on faith, love, and family. He was a wonderful father to David Pierson (Darla Pierson), Tresa Pierson, Joshua Newsom, and Kristiana Bustamante. He was also a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Pierson and Clara Pierson Mason, as well as his brother, Tom Pierson. Though he mourned those who went before him, he held steadfast to the Christian hope of eternal life and the promise of reunion in Heaven.

Those who knew Jerry will remember his warm smile, his quick wit, and his ability to make people laugh. He loved traveling, spending time with friends and family, and sharing stories that brought joy to those around him. His sense of humor brightened countless lives, and his genuine care for others left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

A faithful member of Pleasantview Baptist Church, Jerry's faith was the foundation of his life. He loved his church family and found great comfort and purpose in serving the Lord. His legacy of faith, kindness, and love will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.

Though our hearts grieve his passing, we rejoice in knowing that Jerry has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant," and now rests in the eternal peace of his Heavenly Father's embrace.

Jerry will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family, friends, church family, and all whose lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jerry's honor to Pleasantview Baptist Church, reflecting his lifelong commitment to his faith and church family.
