Jeffrey Stuart Saltzman, a devoted father, proud grandfather, and honored United States veteran, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, in Pantego, Texas. He was 78 years old.
Jeffrey was born on November 21, 1947, in New York, New York, to Mignon Zucker and Milton Saltzman. From an early age, he carried with him a strong sense of duty, resilience, and compassion—qualities that would define his life and legacy.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Jeffrey served his country with courage and honor. His service during the Vietnam War earned him numerous decorations, including the Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal. These honors reflect not only his bravery, but also his deep commitment to those he served alongside and to the nation he loved.
Jeffrey was a loving father to 2 daughters, Sabrina Coronado (spouse Pablo Coronado) and Shelley Copple (Spouse Chris Copple) and grandfather of 5. His love for them was constant, steady, and unconditional, and his presence will forever be felt in their lives.
Jeffrey is also survived by his siblings, Margo Saltzman, Pam Ahtchi, and Jim Saltzman, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and family bonds.
Those who knew Jeffrey will remember him for his quiet strength, kind heart, and funny sense of humor. His life was one of service—both to his country and to the people he loved most.
Jeffrey Stuart Saltzman will be deeply missed and forever remembered with gratitude, love, and respect. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
