Jeffrey Stephen Jolicoeur, 67, of Green Bay, Wisconsin

September 24, 1957 – February 22, 2025

Jeffrey, a lifelong audiophile, engineer, sailor, and lover of life's finer, and funnier, moments, passed away after a short illness at the age of 67. Born on September 24, 1957, in the "old" St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Jeff often noted with humor that he was born before they built the “new” one.

Jeff led a life rich with curiosity, passion, and dedication to excellence. A 40-year veteran of aerospace engineering, he contributed to some of the nation’s most iconic aerospace programs, including the Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME), Boeing aircraft from the 707 to the 787, and military platforms such as the B-1B, F-16, F-22, and F-35.

A man of many interests, Jeff had a deep appreciation for music and was known to play it loud. From early John Denver to modern jazz, his eclectic taste found a special place in the Gypsy Jazz genre. He was especially proud to have attended countless live performances over the years.

At home in the kitchen, Jeff was a gourmet cook, a BBQ pitmaster, and an amateur winemaker and brewer.

Jeff climbed and summited Mount Rainier, sailed vessels up to 36 feet, and had an enduring love for the open road. He recorded driving on at least 31 individual Interstate Highways across the U.S., completing ten in their entirety.

Though he once dreamed of doing stand-up comedy, he felt he “wasn’t quite funny enough”. However, he did spend a lifetime attempting to correct the misused phrases of “could care less” or “pled guilty.”

He was the youngest of seven children. Five of his siblings preceded him in death.

Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Martha; his sons, Robert and Phillip from a previous marriage; sister, Vivian Hitch; his stepsons, Jake (Joanna) and Josh (Michelle); and four cherished step-grandsons, who affectionately called him "Gramps”, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jeff’s humor, intellect, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
