Jean Louise Gleason

Jean Louise Gleason, age 79, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023 in Dallas, Texas following a brief illness.

Jean was born November 5, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA to Theodore Charlies and Margaret Amelia Britz. She later moved to Texas and worked for many years in the Arlington Independent School District.

She loved to read and working on art & crafts, reading and especially baking…Jean was an amazing cook!

Jean is survived by her companion for thirty years Phillip Patrick; sons Jake Gleason, Matt Gleason, John Proeger, Walt Proeger and Robert Proeger; daughters Tracy Joerz and Irene Gleason; sisters Christine Rosato Maryann Britz and Dottie Camero as well as an abundance of wonderful grandchildren.

Jean was loved by many and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
