James Leslie Smith, 81, of Arlington TX passed away peacefully on Thursday September 4, 2025.
Jim was born January 13, 1944 in Centralia, Illinois. He was born to Howard and Irene Smith. Jim was married to Alice Ann Newkirk on August 28, 1981 in Amarillo, Texas.
Jim was a simple man who loved boxing, sci-fi and watching sports with his beloved family.
Jim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Alice Smith, son Justin Smith and wife Amber Smith, daughters Denise Dunn and Kim Smith, grandchildren: Camron Dunn and his wife Whitney, and Carson Dunn, great grandchildren: Sam and Slade Dunn
The family is asking that any memorial contribution be directed to the Alzheimer's Association in his name.
