James Harold Hadd, Jr.

James H. “Jim” Hadd Jr., 82, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on October 4, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born in Bay City, Michigan, on March 18, 1943, he was the son of James H. Hadd and Ida M. Charboneau.

Jim proudly served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1969, enlisting right out of high school. In 1964, he married the love of his life, Theresa, in Pensacola, Florida. Together they shared over 60 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and family adventures.

He worked in a variety of fields including homebuilding, sales, and finance, always demonstrating integrity and determination. Jim enjoyed traveling with Theresa, hunting, fishing, and cheering on NASCAR and the Texas Rangers. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family.

Jim is survived by his wife, Theresa; son, James Hadd III; daughters, Rachelle Kubricht (husband Gerald) and Sabrina Hester (husband Aaron); grandchildren Shannon, Madison, Douglas (wife Amanda), Jashua, Adam, Grant, and Elliott; and great-grandchild Charles.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on October 17, 2025, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
