Jacquelyn Sue Clennon

Jacquelyn Sue Clennon, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on June 24, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jacquelyn was the daughter of Howard Allison and Audrey Berholtz. She was married to her cherished husband, John Patrick Clennon Jr., for 49 wonderful years until his passing on September 12, 2022. Their love story began when they met while he was in aviation school, forming a bond that flourished and filled their home with warmth and kindness. 

Jacquelyn dedicated her life to her family, serving as a devoted homemaker and the heart of the household. She was a proud mother to five children, each of whom carry her spirit and values with them today. She enjoyed sewing more than anything. She loved to sew clothing for her children and grandchildren and showed her love through her creative nature. She also had a collection of Hallmark Christmas ornaments that she added to every year. Jacquelyn enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren more than any hobby and loved being a grandma.

Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her husband, John Patrick Clennon Jr; daughter, Michelle Renee Hines, whose memory will forever be cherished.

She is survived by her children, Julia Clennon, Janet Kirby and her spouse, Bobby, Jill Sexton, and Jerome Lockhart and his spouse, Matthew. She was also a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, who were the light of her life and brought her immeasurable joy. She leaves behind not only her children and grandchildren but a vast circle of family and friends who felt the warmth of her kind heart and generous spirit. 

Visitation will be 6-8 pm on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Wade Funeral Home. Funeral services for Jacquelyn will be held on September 22, 2026, at11:00 AM at Wade Funeral Home. 

Jacquelyn Sue Clennon will be deeply missed but her legacy of love, compassion, and strength will continue to inspire all who knew her.
