Jackie Kay Bradford

On October 17, 2026, the world lost a beautiful soul, Jackie Kay Bradford, who passed away peacefully in her sleep. Born on July 29, 1968, in Fort Worth, Texas, Jackie was a beacon of love and faith throughout her 58 years. Her journey began as the cherished daughter of Johnny and Judy Bradford, who have predeceased her.

Having grown up in Arlington, Texas Jackie was a proud graduate of Arlington High School, class of 1986. She loved being a dog sitter, a role that perfectly aligned with her nurturing spirit and love for animals. Her gentle nature and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered, especially the four-legged friends she cared for.

Her faith was an integral part of her life, and as an active member of Church360, Jackie found joy and fulfillment in her spiritual community. She is fondly remembered for her beautiful smile, unwavering faith and her ability to remember the date of any particular event that had taken place. She was our unofficial family historian.

Jackie's life was rich with simple pleasures and beloved pastimes. She adored her family and cherished moments spent in their company, especially during Sister Sleepovers, Holidays, and Family Reunions. She was the very best Aunt in the whole wide world.

Her love for Jesus, Chick-fil-A, Outback Steakhouse, the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, Starbucks Frappuccinos and White Rhino hot chocolate was well-known. She was a spirited fan of classic television shows like Bonanza, Andy Griffith, Little House on the Prairie, The Walton’s, The Partridge Family and Everybody Loves Raymond. Jackie found delight in playing Bunco and going to lunch with her church friends. She had a particular fondness for Mississippi Mud Cake (a must on her birthday) and sweet tea—“light ice”.

She is survived by her five sisters, who were her lifelong companions and confidantes: Julie (Donald) Trumble, Janet (Don) Nicholson, Jill (Larry) Chapman, Joanna (Chris) Buckley, and Jennifer (Charles) Dever. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, her best friend since they were 5 years old, Angel, and her cat Sookie.

Her family and friends were the centerpiece of her life, and their bonds were strengthened by shared faith, memories, laughter and love.

Although she faced difficult health challenges, her inner strength and faith in Jesus never wavered. We take comfort knowing she is no longer in pain and is reunited with our Momma and Daddy and her baby Shelby.

We will honor Jackie’s life on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Church360, 6450 S State Highway 360, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
