Freddie Mae Bingham, 91, passed away on May 9, 2022 in Fort Worth.
Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Inurnment: 1:30 p.m. at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
Freddie was born on July 3, 1930 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Fred M. McCracken and Artie Ables McCracken. A Fort Worth resident since 1969, she was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Arlington. Prior to moving to the Metroplex, she resided in Nocona and Odessa, Texas. Freddie worked as a beauty operator and owner of Freddie’s Beauty Salon in Fort Worth on Meadowbrook Drive from 1970-2002. Her family was her life. Freddie dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bingham Sr. on September 2, 2002; daughter, Rhonda Blakeman on January 18, 2022; daughter-in-law, Connie Ray Bingham on September 7, 2015; brothers, Charles Tinker Blasious, William “Bill” McCracken; and sister, Mac Fenoglio.
Survivors: Sons, Roy Bingham Jr., Billy Troy Bingham and wife, Connie; son-in-law, Jim Blakeman and family; sisters, Mary Francis McCracken Reed and Virginia “Sissy” Weaver; grandchildren, Roy Matthew, Brad, Chris, Tiffany and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Landon, Riley, Avery, Ayden and Wyatt; and a host of family and friends.
